Onward Scholars provides the opportunity for parents and guardians to support students’ academic and personal goals and build community among the families of all program participants.

Parent Participation Requirements

All family volunteers must be in compliance with Archdiocesan Virtus and/or fingerprinting requirements in order to chaperone program field trips.

What is required of my child?

Outlined below are the expectations for academic success and personal development throughout all four years of high school to qualify for and continue to participate in OSP:

  • Students must maintain 3.5 GPA in four years in the program

  • Students are expected to be leaders in campus ministry and service, sports, ASB, or other extra-curricular activities of their choosing 

  • Students are expected to represent the program, their school, and their communities with behavior that reflects well on all three

Get Involved!

Parents/guardians are encouraged to be active participants in program activities as chaperones. Onward Scholars partners with parents/guardians to provide Scholars with the support and resources necessary to reach their full potential.
